Day two was spent at YMCA Camp Icaghowan in Amery, WI working on teamwork, trust and goal setting. Students participated in a number of group activities that pushed them to communicate, problem solve, and "think outside the box.". Then after lunch they took on the Vertical Challenge - a forty foot climbing tower with multiple elements including a giants ladder, and spiders web, grape veins and a climbing rope.
Afterwards the students shared how they pushed themselves outside their comfort zones, realized they could trust others, could be successful with new challenges.
School starts on September 4th and I am looking forward to seeing great things from this group of new students. Welcome aboard!
